Settings
Settings let you configure your profile, manage roles and permissions, create API keys, review audit logs, and adjust platform-level environment settings.
Settings is the administration surface for identity, access, programmatic credentials, system-level configuration, and change review.
How settings fit into administration
Section titled “How settings fit into administration”- Use General for personal profile preferences such as display name and theme.
- Use Roles when you need to define or review platform permissions.
- Use API Keys when an external system needs authenticated access.
- Use Environment Settings when administrators need to edit platform-level values.
- Use Audit Logs when you need to review what changed and who changed it.
Common administration flows
Section titled “Common administration flows”- Onboard a teammate Invite the user, assign a role, and verify access behavior.
- Enable an integration Create or rotate an API key, then confirm the responsible role has the right access.
- Review a settings change Open the affected settings page first, then use Audit Logs to inspect the recorded change history.
